Once everyone's registered up, I wanna keep a discussion on DnD and the actions/solutions to bring back doing a weekly night game, either fridays or even staurdays.

Though I agree, I think the D&D stands as a split for now. I'm still going to order a full license of Fantasy Grounds and that might help bridge the city gap. The issue is the edition of play in the system.

Speaking of editions, I'm still working on getting the manual for character(non-mecha) gen in Heavy Gear. I also have the idea that Savage Worlds might be a fun system to give a go with. I'm of course still pushing 3.5 and BeSM.

Savage Worlds is a simple yet expansive RP System, as seen here. It has a crazy amount of potential and yet still has some ease to it. It also has a shwack of settings made for it.

It definitely sounds interesting, I'd have to take a look at the complete rules though

edit: downloaded pdf, definitely seems worthwhile, has a good humor. I'd probably make more of a science fiction campaign, almost of fallout type world maybe

I miss fridays too, which is why I added this to the forum so we could establish what goal we need to get to in order to get back to it.

still unsure about system, since it ties to players attending, but I've been working bit by bit on working with "general knowledge" of the land and it's functions,

your character can be as well-read as you are :P

None, We do have Kristin, Jenn and I for players in the system. But nobody has decided on a day. It also depends on how we will be gaming. Over the net, or in person.

I do like having people over, oh such chairs I have (although I've recently re-configured the furniture to make way for a possible couch!)

lol, very nice. I enjoy hanging out, but I have to admit how much easier it is for me to internet it, though if it was on a day after I worked, and I had the night off, I could crash in regina and play that night.

To bad nobody else talks on this forum, or we might know what they would be comfortable doing.
