Questions about the Carrying weight of the riding dog
and the actual weight of the items for it. The Saddle,
Saddle Bags, and Feed are all for the horses. So in
theory it would still have enough weight left to carry
the 67lbs of me and my gear.

I was also considering picking up some Acid(Flask), Alchemist's Fire(Flask), Antitoxin(Vial), and/or Thunderstones. Maybe some other tricks too depending on the Magic Items and weight concerns.

quadrupeds carry 25% more than bipeds. In the carrying capacity table,

15 = 66 * 1.25 = 82.5 lbs

Also, I'm willing to rule that the dog saddles are half the weight.

edit: for future reference, medium load for the dog will be 83-169, and heavy 170-250
